①Paper-plastic composite material. Paper has good printing performance, good air permeability, poor water resistance, and deformation in contact with water; plastic film has good water resistance and air tightness, but poor printability. After the two are compounded, composite materials such as plastic-paper (plastic film as the surface material), paper-plastic (paper as the surface material), and plastic-paper-plastic are formed. The paper-plastic composite material can improve the moisture resistance of the paper, and at the same time has a certain heat sealability. It can be compounded by dry compounding process, wet compounding process and extrusion compounding process.

②Plastic composite material. Plastic-plastic composite materials are the most common type of composite materials. Various plastic films have their own advantages and disadvantages. After compounding them, the new material has excellent properties such as oil resistance, moisture resistance, and heat sealability. After plastic-plastic compounding, two-layer, three-layer, four-layer and other composite materials can be formed, such as: OPP-PE BOPET – PP, PE, PT PE-evoh-PE.

③Aluminum-plastic composite material. The air tightness and barrier properties of aluminum foil are better than that of plastic film, so sometimes a plastic-aluminum-plastic composite, such as PET-Al-PE, is used.

④Paper-aluminum-plastic composite material. The paper-aluminum-plastic composite material uses the good printability of paper, the good moisture-proof and thermal conductivity of aluminum, and the good heat-sealability of some films. Combining them together can obtain a new composite material. Such as paper-aluminum-polyethylene.

Fexo machine no matter what kind of composite material it is, it is required that the outer layer has good printability and mechanical properties, the inner layer has good heat-sealing adhesion, and the middle layer has the properties required by the contents, such as light blocking, moisture barrier and so on.
